The Division of Human Resources and Organization, Walailak University, hosted WU Innovation Day 2025 from 25–27 August 2025 at Hua Taphan Conference Room, Walailak University Hospital. The event was graciously presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warit Jawjit, Vice President of Walailak University, who delivered the opening address. The ceremony was held in an impressive manner and drew significant attention from participants.

Now in its third consecutive year, WU Innovation Day aims to serve as a platform for showcasing innovations and process improvements developed by various university units, including schools, colleges, the graduate school, centers, institutes, divisions, and offices. The presented works reflect tangible achievements resulting from creativity and development initiatives that can be practically applied, in line with the university’s LEAN concept: reducing procedures, saving time, and optimizing budgets.

On the first day, executives and staff members from numerous units gathered for the opening ceremony and visited the poster exhibition of innovative works. Each unit had the opportunity to present their projects directly to university executives, fostering an atmosphere of learning, knowledge exchange, and inspiration that stimulated further creativity.

The presentations were divided into two main sessions:

  • 25 August 2025: Presentations by schools and colleges, with randomized order to ensure fairness and maintain excitement throughout the session.

  • 26–27 August 2025: Presentations by support units, where each unit was accompanied by staff members who enthusiastically supported and cheered for their teams.

This event served as a significant opportunity to create a learning platform and disseminate best practices from successful innovation initiatives across the university. It also enabled participants to adopt and apply these practices to enhance work processes at both individual and organizational levels, thereby contributing to continuous improvement and the advancement of the university in the future.
