On July 3, 2026, Walailak University held a royal tribute and alms-offering ceremony to mark the royal birthday anniversary of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong, President of Walailak University, presided over the ceremony at the Bussarakham Meeting Room in the Natural History Museum Building. The event was honored by the presence of Mr. Teerapong Chuaichoo, Deputy Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province, alongside university executives, personnel, students, and representatives from public, private, and local community sectors, who gathered to express their loyalty and gratitude.

The proceedings featured a royal blessing dance performed by Walailak University students before Her Royal Highness’s portrait. Representatives from internal departments, student leaders, the Walailak Pattana Demonstration Community, and external agencies offered traditional royal tributes in sequence. President Sombat Thamrongthanyawong then presented the main tribute tray (Phan Phum), opened the floral cone cover, and read an address of royal blessing before leading participants in signing the book of well-wishes to pray for Her Royal Highness’s good health and happiness.

In addition to the formal ceremony, Walailak University organized public benefit activities to dedicate merit to Her Royal Highness, including a blood donation drive and a volunteer project titled “Walailak Cares for the Environment: Landscape Improvement.”
