HRO checks the condition of staff residences, getting ready for handover

The Welfare Staff and the Head of the Human Resources and Organization Division, Dr.  Premrudee Noonsang, visited the Walainiwas staff residences on July 15, 2025, to inspect and assess their condition. This inspection aims to prepare the residences for handover to new employees who will be moving in.

The purpose of checking the residences condition is to ensure that all units are in perfect condition and ready for immediate occupancy. If any defects are found, they will be promptly repaired and rectified as soon as possible.

Inspecting the residences is of utmost importance, not only for the safety of the occupants but also for their hygiene and quality of life, which Walailak University highly prioritizes. It also forms a crucial foundation for enhancing the work efficiency of its personnel.

Preparing staff accommodation is part of Walailak University’s human resource management policy, which is committed to improving the working environment and quality of life for its personnel. This initiative aims to attract and retain high-quality personnel to contribute to the organization’s continued progress.

HRO Outing: Strengthening Teamwork and Analyzing Organizational Potential with SWOT

Human Resources and Organization Department of Walailak University recently held an off-site seminar in Phatthalung Province on June 5-6. The primary objective was to gather insights and analyze the organization’s potential through a SWOT Analysis activity.

This event allowed participants to collaboratively identify the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats of the organization. The information gathered will serve as a crucial foundation for Walailak University’s future planning and sustainable development.

In addition to the academic sessions, the seminar also featured engaging recreational activities designed to foster unity and strengthen relationships within the organization. A notable activity was the “buddy gift exchange,” where participants exchanged handmade artistic creations, such as drawings or poster paintings. This brought smiles and left a lasting impression on everyone involved.

This off-site seminar not only enabled personnel to contribute to the organization’s development but also provided an excellent opportunity to cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration and mutual understanding. These elements are vital for driving Walailak University towards future success.

Phetchaburi Rajabhat University Visits Walailak University to Observe welfare management

On May 2, 2025 a delegation of 10 representatives from Phetchaburi Rajabhat University visited Walailak University to observe and learn about its welfare management practices. The study visit aimed to explore effective strategies and models in place at Walailak University to enhance welfare provisions for its personnel.

The Phetchaburi Rajabhat University team was welcomed by Associate Professor Dr. Warit Jawjit, Vice president and Welfare Department Staff of Walailak University  The agenda included presentations and discussions on various aspects of Walailak University’s welfare programs, which may cover areas such as employee benefits, health and wellness initiatives, support systems, and other welfare-related services.

This visit serves as a valuable opportunity for both universities to exchange knowledge and best practices. We look forward to seeing how the insights gained from this visit will benefit Phetchaburi Rajabhat University’s own welfare development.

On March 31, 2025, the Human Resources (HR) Division of Walailak University (WU) participated in a ceremony to lay floral tributes in commemoration of King Rama III Memorial Day.

The event took place at the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Administration Organization’s Auditorium. Representing Walailak University were Associate Professor Dr. Siwarit Pongsakarnranusin, the Vice President, along with personnel from the Human Resources and Organization Division, and representatives from Akkharatchakumari Veterinary College

This participation by the HR Division underscores Walailak University’s dedication to honoring Thai history and the benevolent contributions of its past monarchs, fostering a sense of unity and pride within the university community
